The HBA Education Committee has been recognized at the national level for having the "Best Education Plan Implemented" among HBAs its size. The HBA offers courses from building science and code training to construction Spanish.

	Certified Graduate Associate (CGA):  Learn about the home building business from the best source possible: builders and remodelers with years of field experience. Earned through classroom instruction, the CGA designation affirms your level of industry knowledge and your commitment to your professionalism in the building industry.
	Certified Green Professional (CGP)™, an exclusive designation offered by NAHB, is designed to teach building industry professionals strategies for incorporating green building principles into homes using cost-effective and affordable options. Earning the CGP shows customers your commitment to staying current with industry innovations—including green building.
	The Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS) designation program teaches the technical, business management and customer service skills essential to competing in the fastest growing segment of the residential remodeling industry—home modifications for aging in place.
	Certified New Home Marketing Professional (CMP) is the mid-level designation for IRM students who have completed the marketing intensive IRM courses I through IV.
	The Certified New Home Sales Professional (CSP) designation is the first designation available through The Institute of Residential Marketing. CSP was designed for specialists in new home sales to enhance their professional image, increase their marketability in the home building industry and sell more homes!
	Created by NAHB and jointly endorsed by the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), the Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP) is a specialized designation for developers, property managers, asset managers, and others working in the affordable housing industry.
	The Member, Institute of Residential Marketing (MIRM) designation is the fourth and most prestigious designation given by the Institute. The MIRM is the top-level achievement for professionals in new home marketing.
	Certified Leasing Professional (CLP) is an educational and designation program offered to apartment leasing professionals by the Associated Builders and Owners. The CLP educational curriculum offers the essential skills and information needed to make you an effective leasing professional. Delgado Student Chapter

The HBA of Greater New Orleans also sponsors an award-winning local student chapter at Delgado Community College. Under the leadership of Professor Victor Mirzai, student chapter members are consistently looking for various internships and jobs with HBA member firms to fullfill their academic requirements and hopefully gain permanent positions upon graduation.
